Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
When a visitor types a name or date of birth into a sponsored search widget, the information is sent to the provider that runs that tool. The provider processes the query and returns its own results. Cass County Warrant Records does not keep a local log of search terms submitted through that outside service.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If a visitor emails the site, the message and contact details may be kept so a reply can be sent. That information is not shared outside the operating team unless a legal duty requires disclosure.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, server and analytics systems may collect technical details about the visit, such as:
- IP address associated with the device
- Browser type and version
- Device and operating-system type
- Pages opened and time spent on them
- Referring website, when one is available
- Time and date of a page request
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies may be stored in a browser to measure broad site use, such as which pages are visited most often and where people leave. Analytics services can aggregate traffic information. Browser settings can block cookies, though some site features may then work differently.
What We Do With This Data
Technical and service information can be used for limited operating needs:
- Keeping pages available and responsive
- Sending a search request to the provider that runs the widget
- Seeing which local reference pages are useful
- Finding and fixing technical faults
- Displaying advertising that may reflect broad user interests
No Warrant Data on File
This site does not host, compile, maintain, or sell Cass County warrant records or person-specific warrant databases. It explains where the sheriff, District Clerk, JP courts, and municipal courts keep their own files. Visitor information collected during a site visit is not assembled into a consumer report or a record about a third party.
Third-Party Search Partners
The sponsored search boxes are operated by outside companies. Information entered in those tools is handled under the provider’s privacy policy, retention practices, and sharing terms. Cass County Warrant Records does not control those systems. Read the partner’s policy before sending personal information or paying for a service.
Links to Other Websites
Pages link to Cass County, city, court, state, and federal sources, as well as outside search providers. Once a visitor follows an external link, the destination’s privacy terms apply. Check those terms before sharing a name, date of birth, or other information.
Some advertising partners may use their own tools to track activity across websites for ad selection. That tracking is performed on partner systems, not through a county warrant database hosted here.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold by this reference site. Information may be processed by:
- Search providers receiving a query submitted to their tool
- Analytics services measuring site traffic and performance
- Advertising networks that display sponsored content
- Government or law-enforcement bodies when a valid legal order requires it
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable security practices are used to protect information handled by the site. No internet-connected system can be promised free of risk. The site cannot guarantee that an unauthorized party will never access data held by a provider or service.
Users Under 18
The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly seek personal information from a person under 18. If a minor’s information is believed to have been sent directly to the site, an adult may use the site’s published contact route to request review and deletion where applicable.
Your Data Rights
Texas law treats county records and judicial records through separate access routes. The Texas Public Information Act, Government Code Chapter 552, applies to many records held by governmental bodies. Texas courts use judicial-record rules such as Rule 12 for records within its scope. These laws govern public offices; they do not control information a visitor submits directly to a private search partner.
- Ask the site about personal information sent directly to it
- Request correction of a message or contact detail held by the site
- Ask whether information can be deleted from site-controlled records
- Use a provider’s own policy for queries entered into its search tool
Updates to This Policy
The privacy terms may change as services or practices change. A revised version will be posted here with a new effective date. Review the current text before using a third-party search box.
